Ueno

 

This picture combines the front of the Senso-ji, the oldest Buddhist temple in Tokyo, built in 645 AD, and a girl who was modeling at Ueno Park. A bit of trivia: this was one of the first pictures that magazines used when they started publishing articles about Taeko, and to date many people believe the girl in the picture is Taeko Nomiya.
