Luis Okamoto | Kanji

00:00 / 01:05

History says that kanji characters were taken from China’s Han script.

Walking around Tokyo, Okamoto would often point at something and say: “Look, kanji”. In the shadow of the leaves, in the lines of stones, in the silhouette of the trees, anywhere we walked, Okamoto would constantly find messages written in a calligraphy that was older than time.
